Projects:
Over the past 13 years, we have implemented dozens of projects, educated thousands of teenagers and young leaders, and introduced innovative approaches in upbringing, ecology, volunteerism, and media literacy. Here are just a few of the key projects:
Youth Program “C10tent” (2019–2020) (completed)
A project in partnership with Channel One Eurasia, where young activists participated as hosts and editors. It supported early career orientation and helped school students develop journalism skills.
“Birgemiz: Taza Alem” (2020) (completed)
An eco-volunteering project that trained 1,000 volunteers, planted 2,000 trees, conducted 18 plogging events, and engaged 800 volunteers in the “World Cleanup Day” campaign.
“Birgemiz: Asyla Mura” (2020) (completed)
A project aimed at preserving historical and cultural heritage. 1,000 volunteers took part in archaeological work, restoration of heritage sites, and contributing to Wikipedia.
Ecological projects: “EkoӘlem”, “Birgemiz: Taza Alem”, “Kieli Tabigat” (2019–2021) (completed)
Projects promoting environmental awareness: thousands of trees were planted, hundreds of tons of waste were collected, and many children and teenagers were educated on ecological topics.
“ReStart” Project (2020–2021) (completed)
A project focused on preventing internet addiction and cyberbullying. Thousands of children were educated on healthy internet usage and digital literacy.
“ZhasProject” (2022) (completed)
A youth initiative program in the Karaganda and Ulytau regions. 61 mini-projects were supported in rural areas, contributing to youth social and professional development.
“Orkendeu” Project (ongoing)
A project aimed at preserving and revitalizing family values. Implemented through 6 schools across Kazakhstan to strengthen family ties and cultural traditions.
“Leadership School” and “Volunteer School” (ongoing)
Programs focused on developing soft skills among teenagers. These initiatives have been accelerated through the Kazakhstan Institute of Public Development.
“Birgemiz: Bilim” (2023–2024) (completed)
A project that provided training in digital, financial, language, and computer literacy to 10,000 participants. It trained 4,000 volunteers and supported 59 small grant initiatives.
UNICEF Project “Enhancing Youth Participation in U-Report” (ongoing)
An innovative platform that engages youth in civic processes. 500 volunteers have been mobilized, and more than 10,000 young people have registered on the U-Report platform.
