Basic rules for allocating places in a dormitory
Places in dormitories of state educational organizations are allocated on a competitive basis by a commission of representatives of the educational institution, students and youth policy organizations.
Who can apply
Due to the limited number of places in student dormitories, priority in their distribution is given to students from the preferential category of citizens who study on a grant and really need housing::
- Disabled people from childhood, disabled people of groups I and II, orphans and children without parental care, children with one of their parents disabled;;
- Youth who were left without parental care at the time of reaching adulthood, persons equal in benefits and guarantees to participants and disabled people of the Second World War, rural youth who entered a specialty that determines the socio-economic development of the village, as well as in the status of “Kandastar”, who are not citizens of the Republic Kazakhstan;
- «Students within the framework of the program “Mangilik el zhastary – industriyaga!” (“Serpin - 2050”);
- «Students enrolled in the first year who have the “Altyn Belgi” badge, students who have a certificate of winner of a presidential, international and republican Olympiad and (or) competition, as well as applicants who graduated from an educational institution with honors with a supporting document of education (certificate, diploma);
- Students admitted to study for the first year in accordance with the state educational order, who have a high score based on the results of the Unified National Testing or Comprehensive Testing, entrance exams in subjects or in the form of testing conducted by the organization;
- enior students with high results in educational, scientific and social work.
Who cannot apply
- Students who permanently reside in the cities of the educational institution and have permanent registration here.
- Those who own housing on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Submitting an application on the portal egov.kz
To submit an application on the egov.kz website, you must:
- obtain an EDS (electronic digital signature);
- fill out an application and sign it with digital signature.;
Term of the provision of the service: 3 working days.
The final result of the provision of the service: a direction to provide dormitory for students in higher educational institutions.

Offline
Submitting an application directly to a higher educational institution.
To submit an application to the university you must provide following documents:
- a copy of an identity card;
- a copy of the death certificate of both or only parents or a certificate from the orphanage (if available);
- a copy of the kandas status certificate (if available);
- certificate confirming the presence of four or more children in the family (if the family has many children);
- certificate confirming disability (if available).
Term of the provision of the service: 3 working days.
The final result of the provision of the service: a direction to provide dormitory for students in higher educational institutions.
