Ground rules
Since 01.01.15 year in Kazakhstan there is a «curfew» for children. This means that anyone under the age of 18 is forbidden to be out of the house without legal representation at night.
The ban on being present is specified:
- at entertainment establishments – 22:00-6:00;
- outside the home * – 23:00-6:00
* residence of legal representatives (Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, article 16)
Who must accompany the child?
According to the Code of Administrative Offences, the child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, that is.:
- with the parent;
- adopter
- a guardian;
- doptive parent, foster caregiver or persons in loco parentis.
Need to know! It is necessary to go to a notary and issue a power of attorney with the necessary wording on the person who will be with the child after 22:00. Due to the excessive employment of the child’s parents, relatives will take care of the child. Relatives will pick up the child after school.
