How to open an educational deposit AQYL and receive a state bonus annually
The State Educational Savings System (SESS) is an opportunity for any citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan to open an educational savings deposit in his or her name or in the name of a child, which in the future can be used to pay for vocational and higher education in Kazakhstan and abroad.
This educational deposit AQYL accrues interest from the bank (depending on the bank) plus an annual State Premium of 5% or 7%.
The state premium is accrued annually for the entire amount of the deposit, taking into account remuneration from the bank, but not more than 100 MCI per year:

7% for priority categories: orphans, children without parental care, disabled people, children from large families and from low-income families;

5% for other categories of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The minimum down payment is 3 MCI.
The accumulation period is from 3 to 20 years.
To open an AQYL educational deposit, you only need two documents:

Identity card of one of the parents.

Birth certificate and IIN of the child.
Upon receipt of a grant, the investor has the right:

withdraw savings from the deposit;
-
transfer money to another child's name;
-
accumulate further to obtain other levels of education.
Features of the educational savings deposit AQYL:

educational savings deposit AQYL is encouraged by a state bonus;

state premiums, as a type of income, are not subject to taxation;
-
educational savings deposit AQYL is subject to mandatory guarantee of deposits of individuals (up to 10 million tenge);
-
the opportunity to receive an educational loan from the Bank under a 100% guarantee from the state represented by JSC “Financial Center” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To open a deposit you need:

Step - Select one of the participating banks. Open an educational deposit. Make a down payment.
Step – Receive a bank reward, as well as a state bonus.
Step – Pay for education at colleges/universities in Kazakhstan or abroad. When you apply for a grant, you will receive all the interest - both from the bank and from the state!
