Experts discussed the draft National Report "Youth of Kazakhstan - 2021"

The Research Center "Youth" with the assistance of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an expert discussion of the substantive part of the National Report "Youth of Kazakhstan - 2021".

The discussion was organized in order to provide a comprehensive analysis of the situation in the youth environment, including the conduct of open public discussions.

The discussion was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of central and local executive bodies, heads of youth organizations and resource centers. The leading experts of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, the Nur Otan Institute for Public Policy, the Institute for Applied Ethnopolitical Research, the Rukhani Zhangyru Kazakhstan Institute for Social Development and the Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov.

This year, the National Report will be prepared taking into account the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, which will reflect the views of modern youth about the values ​​of independence. In order to determine qualitative data on the social status of Kazakhstani youth, sociological research and public discussions with the expert and scientific community will be conducted. The recommendations developed during the formation of the National Report will become important practical tools for the implementation of state youth policy.

At the end of the meeting, the experts agreed that the upcoming scientific work will identify the primary needs of the younger generation, as well as key trends, interests and requests that should be taken into account when discussing youth policy.

Let us remind you that since 2013 SRC “Youth” has been annually publishing the National Report “Youth of Kazakhstan”. The report is a comprehensive analysis of the situation of Kazakhstani youth in the main spheres of their life. The main goal of this scientific work is methodological support and adaptation of the system of state youth policy to the current needs and interests of young people.
